Costa Mesa Wedding Photographer
Costa Mesa gives a wedding a different kind of Orange County backdrop: art, architecture, gardens, and easy access to the coast. I'm Kaitlin Mace, a film and digital wedding photographer based in Orange County, and I love telling the story of a day shaped by your people, your traditions, and the place you chose to bring everyone together.
A Nikkah at The Park Club
Areeba and Dillan planned their wedding in about seven days, yet nothing about it felt rushed. Their intimate Nikkah at The Park Club, in Costa Mesa's Arts District, was calm and intentional, with vows that reflected how sure they were of each other.
A thoughtful team helped it all come together quickly, including The Ashlyn Co for planning and design, Adrienne Hein Studio for florals and decor, Rachana Desai for henna, Artistry by Denise for hair and makeup, and Sadaf Fawad Khan for bridal fashion.
Their wedding is now on the cover of Luxury Indian Destination Weddings 2026 e-magazine, with a spread inside and a feature on the Maharani Weddings blog.
We also made time for portraits in Laguna Beach, ending at an overlook near the Montage as the sun went down.

Ceremonies with meaning
I'd love to know which moments and traditions matter most to you and your family. From a Nikkah in Costa Mesa to a Chinese tea ceremony in San Gabriel, I photograph these moments with care, so you can stay present and your family can feel seen.
Before the wedding, we'll talk through the order of the day, the people who need to be included, and anything I should know so your photographs feel true to you.
“The photos so beautifully capture the joy of the day. I can look through them and remember exactly how everything felt.”

Film and digital, side by side
Film is included in every collection, so there's no need to choose. Digital moves quickly enough for every laugh across the room, while 35mm film brings a slower, more tactile layer to your portraits, details, and quiet in-between moments.
Planning your Costa Mesa wedding photos
Costa Mesa weddings can look very different from one another. You might choose the Arts District around Segerstrom Center, the garden setting at Noguchi Garden, the barn and open grounds at Centennial Farm, or a creative space such as Fête The Venue.
We'll build your timeline around the light, your family photos, and any travel between locations. If you want portraits by the ocean, we'll plan that early, so it feels like part of the day rather than a rush.

Costa Mesa Wedding Questions
-
Yes. I've photographed Nikkah and Chinese tea ceremonies, and I'll ask about your traditions, timing, and family before the wedding. If there's something you want me to photograph in a particular way, tell me and we'll plan for it.
-
Yes, with enough time in your timeline. Areeba and Dillan took portraits in Laguna Beach as part of their celebration. We'll look at your schedule, the light, and travel time before deciding what makes sense.
-
Costa Mesa reserves many of its parks through a city permit process, and some events may need additional permits. The city's reservation page doesn't address weddings specifically, so contact Parks and Community Services before you plan a park ceremony.
-
Costa Mesa has plenty of hotels near South Coast Plaza and the Arts District. Travel Costa Mesa lists partner hotels that offer group rates, which can make it easier to keep everyone close.
-
Yes. I photograph weddings of every size, from intimate ceremonies to full wedding weekends. A smaller day can leave more room for each person and each moment.
